Photo posts, slideshows, live streams and private videos are not supported. LinkSave does not remove watermarks or promise a watermark-free file.
Only download when you have the necessary rights and the source platform permits the access method.
Each platform supports different post types. Choose a tool to check its links, file formats and limits.
For these uses, you need the content rights and a download method permitted by the source platform. Saving a file does not grant reuse rights.
Use TikTok’s Save video option when available. Where the rights and access rules permit it, a supported video link can also produce a checked MP4 here.

No. An audio track or cover image is not a complete photo post, so it is not offered as one. TikTok’s own Save photo feature can save photos when the creator permits it.
TikTok’s download helpThat depends on the source file. LinkSave does not edit out watermarks and does not guarantee a watermark-free version.
Yes. These short links and TikTok /t/ share links are supported when they resolve to an accessible public video. If a share link fails, open the individual video and copy its full tiktok.com/@creator/video/… link.
TikTok may offer several codecs or versions. LinkSave selects a compatible MP4; it does not upscale the video or guarantee the highest resolution of every source format.
The result shows the checked resolution and file size. Videos use compatible source formats without upscaling. Photos keep their resolution: existing JPG/PNG files stay unchanged, while WebP becomes high-quality JPG or PNG when transparency is needed. JPG conversion can introduce a small compression loss. LinkSave does not promise 4K.
The platform may restrict access, return incomplete photo data or offer an unsupported format. Removed, private, live, oversized or login-restricted content cannot be prepared. Try the individual post or photo link and check the limits.
Your browser handles the save. Check Downloads in its menu or toolbar, or your chosen save folder. On iPhone or iPad, check the Files app after saving. Files use the available video title or post caption, with numbered photos, including inside ZIP. Without that text, names use the platform and source ID when available. You can tap Save again for another copy while the prepared file is available here for 15 minutes.
Yes. Use Create QR below the link field or on your result. The code opens the original TikTok post; it does not download a file. No media preparation is needed. The static code has no LinkSave expiry, but the source post must remain accessible.
