How to make a QR code for a post
LinkSave turns a supported social media post link into a static QR code. Scanning it opens the original post. You do not need to download its video or photos first.

QR code for an Instagram post or Reel
Copy the individual Insta post’s /p/ or /reel/ link, including links with a username. The scan opens that post, not a downloaded gallery.
TikTok video or photo QR code
Full video and photo-post links, vm.tiktok.com, vt.tiktok.com and /t/ share links are accepted. A QR can share a photo post even though our TikTok downloader handles videos only.
YouTube video QR code, with its start time
Use a YT watch, Shorts, embed or youtu.be link. A start-time parameter stays in the QR destination. Playlist-only and channel links are not supported.
Your timestamp stays in the link.
For example, a YouTube link ending in &t=20s keeps that start time in the QR. We show the complete destination so you can check it. Playback and access remain controlled by YouTube.
A static code has no LinkSave expiry. If the creator removes a post or restricts its audience, the QR cannot restore access.

Social media QR code questions
The original post on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or YouTube. The QR contains the post link you see beside it. It does not open a temporary LinkSave file or start a video download.
LinkSave does not set an expiry on the static QR code. The original link still needs to work: the creator may delete the post, change its visibility, or the platform may change access. A working QR image cannot keep a removed post online.
No. Create QR works directly from the post link in your browser. It does not request the video or photos. You can still create a QR when the downloader cannot prepare that post.
Yes. If your YouTube link includes a start time such as t=20s, the QR keeps that parameter. The player on YouTube controls playback. This is separate from LinkSave’s video downloader, which prepares the whole supported video rather than trimming it.
Save QR downloads a PNG image. SVG for print saves a vector version of the same code. Keep the white border and dark code intact, and scan the exported file at its intended size before printing several copies.
Yes, using a supported individual post link. Instagram /p/ and /reel/ links, Facebook photo and post links, TikTok video or photo links, and YouTube videos or Shorts are accepted. QR sharing does not mean all of those media types can also be downloaded here.
No. The person scanning still needs access on the source platform and may need to sign in there. LinkSave does not check whether the post is available or change its audience.
No. This is a static QR code containing the original link. To share a different address, generate a new code. Scans go directly to the source platform, so LinkSave does not count them or provide a redirect service.
